With the new year well underway, we thought it timely to introduce one of the key figures behind the scenes at HUNGERBALL®, Dawn Engelbrecht. With a shareholding interest, Dawn contributes her wealth of knowledge and expertise to our strategic plans for growth.
Dawn has a solid background in the general business sector, initially practising as an Accountant specialising in small to medium businesses.
Dawn recently owned and developed a very successful childcare franchise brand, taking it into several countries, including New Zealand, Australia, England, Ireland, and South Africa. Having spent 20 years growing this business, she truly understands what it means to have skin in the game and the emotional ties that come with owning your business.
Dawn is passionate about creating opportunities for children, particularly those who often miss out due to financial or physical constraints. She believes HUNGERBALL® is a game-changer for creating sporting opportunities and promoting healthy lifestyles through social enterprise.
