Jacob and Hailey Thoman are the owners/operators of Copper State HUNGERBALL® in Tucson, AZ. They are excited to bring Hungerball to the southwest and make the sport accessible to all who want to play.
Jacob is a native Tucsonan, and Hailey is originally from Michigan. They met at church in 2007 and have been married since 2010. Jacob’s background is in medical software and serving in the Arizona Air National Guard. Hailey has over 15 years of experience in the non-profit sector. They complement each other well with Jacob’s passion for building things and Hailey’s knack for managing details.
Jacob and Hailey played soccer in their youth, and all 3 of their sons currently play soccer. Jacob has been involved with their local AYSO region since 2019, serving in multiple leadership roles and coaching youth teams. He is also a certified referee, bringing valuable on-field experience and a strong understanding of the game’s rules.
Hungerball matches their family’s energy level, love of playing games, and love of being outdoors. They look forward to helping the community be more active and connected through the sport.
