The YMCA Sports Camps at Camp Adair, Hunua, are about creating more sporting opportunities for children and young people. The camp founders recognised that not every child and young person has the same opportunities – maybe due to cost, exposure to the right sport, or even being given a suitable space to grow their confidence and learn.
HUNGERBALL® loved being part of the camps. Hundreds of kids tried new sports, and fierce competition was balanced with supportive sportsmanship.
In partnership with Grassroots Trust, the YMCA delivers sports camps to intermediate-aged tamariki and rangatahi.
